U.S. Supreme Court: Mumia Abu-Jamal Verdict Stands
Convicted cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal has lost the appeal of his conviction in the murder of Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner.
KYW's Tony Hanson reports the conviction stands. The U.S. Supreme Court has decided not to hear the defense appeal. Lower courts, including the third circuit court of appeals in Philadelphia, had upheld the conviction of Mumia Abu-Jamal.
