The Philadelphia police commissioner met on Tuesday with area shopowners and councilmembers. The topic: serious allegations of officers abusing power.
Pedro Rodriguez with United Neighbors Against Drugs says the problems involve corner stores they claim were targeted by "bad seeds" in the department:
"These were narcotics police officers that entered into the premises, disabled the surveillance equipment and proceeded to ransack the place. Allegations are being made that cash was stolen, merchandise was stolen."
