When it comes to historical play, movie,
dance, music and song figure impersonators, it's hard to top professional
artistic impersonator and vocalist David Anthony. Anthony, aka “Mickey J,” of
Philadelphia, Pa, maintains that all his entertainment-basses are one-of-a kind.
David Anthony is among the few
talented artist who should at least make a top-10 list of impersonators role
playing historical-figure-superstars in music and movies. Michael Jackson,
Little Richard, and Brandon Lee, to name a few, are the reason why Anthony’s
fans cheer for him as “The Face Behind the Mask.”
David is a professional dance choreographer,
martial artist, and music artist himself. Today, Anthony works on sticking to
people whose primary careers involved playing for professional theater or
people whose careers involved movies and music.
He always has historical figures down
pat as Mickey J. And as a singer and dancer his talents are downright uncanny.
Sometimes his impersonation relies
more on appearance than mannerism which is exciting.
David Anthony has his own Facebook
page dedicated to impersonating his top favorite entertainers.
He's become a staple in the national entertainment
community, appearing and performing at live concerts and even appearing with
some of the stars themselves.
