Ace Powers a.k.a. U7
Ace Dakota Powers is a fictional character in both earth and outer space settings who is but one of the protagonists of the Heroes of the Last Q Superheroes social-science fiction action comics’ series by Philadelphia writer Van Stone. Reintroduced in the 1994 paperback book and comic strip Heroes of the Last Q - (It was first introduced in the 1976 completely pencil and pen drawn action comic strip series starring U7, a.k.a. Ace Powers and his friends such as superhero Axe Man VS supervillians, especially the supervillian ICY, with the title intentionally misspelled then, the Incredable U7); it consisted of 16 action episodes, by Philadelphia’s own writer(s) Kevin Lofton and Samuel Downing, a.k.a. Van Stone. In 1986, Ace Powers and Shadai Chiropractra, prior to the release of the 1994 paperback book and comic strip, became the two lead characters used to clearly define what the main theme of the Heroes of the Last Q story is about: Separate superheroes and superheroines, such as Ace Powers and Shadai Chiropractra and their own friends are autonomous and competitive with mainstream superheroes, mainstream government, mainstream medicine, and even god(s). Because the mainstream government, mainstream medicine and even god(s) allowed innocent human beings to have been genetically mutated; this was due to scientific genocidal experiments by the government.
Ace Powers is a young man of mixed Native American and Black American ancestry volunteered into an intergalactic future government “Last Quirinal”. In the year 3948 the government secretly warrants deadly experiments using American Indians and Blacks as test material. The super space scientist called the Ussiahs (spelled Uzziah from Hebrew) questioned the world scientist rank about its attempt to commit genocide against the Blacks of Philtro which lead to their being exiled as punishment for such questioning. Then secret experiments became unwarranted but even still the secret experiments continued from 3948 to 3995. After these space scientist intercepts a hostile message from the test victim, who became a mutant human being, in the year 4001, they seek assistance from the victorious Ace Powers who after their testing him, he becomes the super hero U7; they seek assistance from the super hero U7 and sidekick Shadai Chiropractra to undo the harm done as the Last Q’s on the brink of war with mutant humans from a man made planet.
As the story is deeply rooted in Black Indian and Hispanic, Biblical-Interest history, mythology, and spiritual inspiration, "U7" literally translates Uzziah the 7th, meaning Yahweh is my strength in Hebrew, and his signature weapon is the U7 Battle Suit.
The series often touches on spiritual issues, especially as they pertain to Shadai’s dual background in the traditions of the Black American Indian Leaders, and Mythology.
However, Kevin Lofton was the sole artist who drew all 16 episodes of the Incredable U7.) -, on a fictional earth, assisted by various supporting characters including his crime-fighting friend(s), Shadai Chiropractra, a chiropractor, (Shadai was not a character in the original 1976 comic strip series; she did not come in the story until the 1994 Van Stone version of the strip about Blacks in Space and doctored health profession, chiropractic treatment VS mainstream medicine) the 6 Ussiah Scientist, Axe Man, Axe Girl, his anti-hero first cousin Space Powers, a.k.a. Icy, Camtron (U7’s Supercomputer), XDMZ (Malcolm X Men Demilitarized Zone Soldiers), Anthony Conroy and sidekick Tim of the City of Tomorrow, and cross-paths-stories starring super-detectives Baldwin Blues and his sidekick Bo Tomlin, -the Living Monsters, Tubal Cain, Pale Paws, Awarewolf, Olmec, Nimrod, Vam-Roman, Vam-Mummy, with guess appearances by the talking animal safety for kids and patients character Roger Robbie, the Lovable Hip-Hop Raccoon.
He fights an assortment of villains such as the Anvil Man, Grand Kaiser, the Kaiseron, Minotaur, Dr. Apache They, mad scientist, Trollglidon, and the notorious Science Senate, and the very spiritual and fanatical, the Q, the Wayers, and the Creator of the Game. Unlike most superheroes, he possess very little superpowers; he makes use of intellect, science and technology, physical prowess, martial arts skills, and will, in his continuous war to have justice.
Ace Powers is a Sonic Defender Patrol, Earth’s Last Quarinal government youth navy soldier turned superhero U7 with extraordinary abilities because of the U7 gear and having the goal to use his abilities for the benefit of the last One government over earth; his highest ideal is justice; he does have very little superpowers but rather all of his extraordinary abilities are gained when he becomes the superhero in the U7 Battle suit; the character's appearance is distinctive and iconic: a black, red and yellow costume, with a stylized number “7” on his chest. This number 7 is now typically used across media to symbolize the character the Incredible U7, a.k.a. U7; when fitted with a powered armor U7 suit with weapons that include beams and missiles and many other powers.
Throughout the series, he executes missions given to him by the Sonic Defenders Patrol, the Last Q government, and the Ussiah’s while defending against the antagonistic Creator of the Game and autonomous super powered characters, along with troubled soldiers in space and on the earth. Ace Powers, a.k.a. U7 has appeared in all Heroes of the Last Q artwork along with Shadai Chiropractra, the super heroine and has also been featured in media outside of the series, including the paperback novel version of Heroes of the Last Q and the World of Van Stone Comic Strip series in the Westside Weekly Newspaper, in Philadelphia, PA; brief articles have been written about U7 by former Phila. Daily News Comics News writer Jerome Maida in 2010. One of Ace Powers', a.k.a. U7's pals Roger Robbie, the Lovable Hip-Hop Raccoon has been featured in the newspaper called the University City Review as most recently as 2010. Ace Powers, a.k.a. U7 is well known as one of the earliest male protagonists in Philadelphia Weekly Newspaper history and remains a popular character over a 36-year- period after his first appearance when shown to middle school teachers and students in the late 70's by both creator(s) Kevin Lofton and Van Stone.

Brief History
Ace Powers dreamed of being a youth pilot. Ace Powers discovered that there are juvenile space pilots in the Navy and Air force. He chose to become a pilot in the Navy and earned enrollment as a Youth Navy Seal. Ace voluntarily enlisted as a soldier in the Sonic Defenders Patrol (SDP). His duty is to patrol the state of Philtro, a.k.a. Philadelphia. Philadelphia is a state in the government of the Quirinal. However, when six brothers discovered that they were dying due to working on a super experiment invention calling it the super 7 experiment they decided that the user of the experiment would internally and more importantly externally carry on their last name being more than an ordinary hero, -especially after they will have one day passed on due to their deaths, the user of the experiment would be a superhero.
Because the super 7 experiment, in short, the 7 experiment, was created all together by the 6 Ussiahs, the user of the experiment would become known as the Seventh Ussiah, a.k.a. U7 superhero. And thus, the user of the U7 would get the honorable mention and induction in their family and be another Ussiah, but constantly in secret identity. And so because the 6 family member team of special scientist named Ussiah, 5 females and 1 male, have put an incredible amount of work into this project, the superhero must be recognized always and forever lasting as the Incredible U7. The 6 Ussiahs searched out young Ace Powers to become the Incredible U7. And Unexpectedly Ace Powers became U7 for the ideal of justice and helping to fight crime on earth and in space; soon after Ace Powers became the Incredible U7 he formed a special relationship with a group of children who were recognized as super scientist by the age of 11. They become known as the Children of Science (COS). The COS was 6 kids who didn’t follow the attitude of the Ussiahs when it came to science. Having their own free minds they created a super battle computer unlike any other called Camtron. The COS donated Camtron to U7 as a reward for his heroics. Camtron’s special purpose is to protect the Incredible U7 and his friends whenever from wherever Camtron was located. But it was the unexpected support from a female soldier named Shadai Chiropractra when Ace Powers faced a sneak attack at base from the skies by the Kaiserons because they have been genetically mutated due to scientific mainstream medicine genocidal experiments by the Last Q government that developed a sidekick partnership between Ace Powers and Shadai Chiropractor.
In Heroes of the Last Q U7 is captured by the Kaiseron and forced to travel to the man made planet Hated, which contains a Kaiseron colony and a Super Space base. There he learns of the Grand Kaiser, a mysterious mutant human who was genetically altered along with hundreds of other humans, due to scientific genocidal experiments by the Last Q government. There he battles several mutant humans and the Grand Kaiser who want to destroy earth. By the end of his visit, he must escape the planet Hated and return to earth and defeats the Kaiserons with the help of Shadai Chiropractra.
Shadai Chiropractra
Shadai Chiropractra is a fictional comic strip and paperback book character created by writer Van Stone. She first appeared in The World of Van Stone Heroes of the Last Q Comic Strip Issue March 24-30, (1994), and has since appeared in the paperback book Heroes of the Last Q 1994 by printer/publisher, company, UB & US Communications Systems, Inc. She is no ordinary female heroine. Shadai Chiropractra is a doctor in the health care profession of chiropractic medicine. planet Hated’s Kaiseron illness, spinal misalignment, where she adjusts the spine, help U7 defeats the Kaiserons mutant humans and restore all to good health. She also works to prevent the illness from spreading to other areas of planet earth. By the end of the attack of the Kaiserons she defeats the Kaiserons with the help of the Incredible U7.
As the story is deeply rooted in Black Indian and Hispanic, Biblical-Interest history, mythology, and spiritual inspiration, "Shadai" literally translates to Name by which/and or the name of God (Gen. 28:3, Gen 35:11, Gen. 49:25) or also, God was known; Almighty; destroyer, as one of the aspects of God; Guardian of the Doors of Israel and/or Eden on an inaccessible mountaintop; as well as God known as a woman in Hebrew, and her signature weapon is the activator device.
The series often touches on spiritual issues, especially as they pertain to Shadai’s dual background in the traditions of the Black American Indian/Hispanic Leaders, straight philosophy chiropractor doctors, and Mythology.
Shadia Chirapractra is a female protagonist of the Heroes of the Last Q social-science fiction action story series by Van Stone Downing. Introduced in the 1994 comic strip and paperback book Heroes of the Last Q (Quirinal: means government), Shadai is a youth Chiropractic doctor health care professional concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the neuromuscloskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on general health. Her practice of chiropractic medicine involves a range of diagnostic methods including skeletal imaging, observational and tactile assessments, and orthopedic and neurological evaluation. Shadai does common patient management which involves spinal manipulation (SM) and other manual therapies to the joints and soft tissues, rehabilitative exercises, health promotion, electrical modalities, complementary procedures, and lifestyle counseling.
She is a Sonic Defenders Patrol Last Quirinal space soldier turned super chiropractor who has an activator device that is both a medical tool and weapon. Her activator device can be used as a weapon that includes beams and missiles. For most of her service Shadai has battled with mainstream medicine, sustained by pseudoscientific ideas such as subluxation, innate intelligence, and chiropractic spinal manipulative therapy. Because the Science Senate of the Last Q had once boycotted chiropractic medicine until losing its case against chiropractor Shadai and peers in court. Shadai often seriously considers declaring chiropractic a religion wherever she provides healing services, and when she does this at her own risk, she faces certain dangers and battles with those who disagree with her. Shadai and other chiropractors face heavy opposition from organized medicine. Shadai is one of the most wanted chiropractors hunted where ever she is out of the neutral zone for chiropractic care as thousands of chiropractors are prosecuted for practicing medicine, and she and very few other chiropractors are called upon as rescuers of fellow chiropractors who are unjustly jailed. She aligns herself with the common man against intellectuals and fanatics, among which they included the Science Senate of the Last Q. Her main chiropractic treatment technique involves manual therapy, including manipulation of the spine, other joints, and soft tissues.
Throughout the series, she and superhero Ace Powers, a.k.a. U7 executes missions given to them by the Sonic Defenders Patrol of the Last Q. Meanwhile she is hunting the antagonistic Mainstream Medicine Doctors and their leader, the Science Senate. Shadai has appeared in all Heroes of the Last Q comics and books. She is well known as one of the earliest female protagonists in paperback book history and remains a popular character over a decade after her first appearance.
Brief History
Shadai is a teenage woman named Shadai Chiropractra who comes from a family line of Chiropractic warrirors. Her father Salvino is a Black American and Native American Indian Chiropractic warrior and her mother Yolanda is a Hispanic American chiropractor doctor. As a child, Shadai witnessed the false imprisonment of both family medicine doctors and chiropractic medicine doctors at the hands of the supporters of the Science Senate of the Last Q. After this, she was trained to do both chiropractic medical procedures and battle with anyone who tried to jail chiropractic doctors. Shadai was trained by her mother Yolanda in the martial arts and spiritual inspiration which includes super spinal manipulations that can heal and produce force field shields for over the body. And it was her own father who taught her about the fine details that her name is the name of God Almighty. He also trained her to use a super enhanced chiropractic formula based on the D.D. Palmer theory of medicine. Using this formula she would therefore become a super heroine protector of those who believe in chiropractic medicine VS mainstream medicine.
Shadai would be both hunted by enemies of chiropractic health care and the hunter of beings who have jailed chiropractic supporters. She would join the Sonic Defenders Patrol as a special volunteer in the youth military service. Most of her service revolved around getting rid of ailments elements such as common illnesses and the mysterious illnesses not known to mainstream medical physicians, who can drain life suddenly and are frequently used as weapons of illnesses.
In order to support D.D. Palmer, the founder of chiropractic, established a practice based upon spine manipulations, she changed the super enhanced chiropractic formula to create her personal weapon the activator device. The activator device becomes powered to be both a weapon that includes beams, missiles, and super adjustments for healing. The activator device can scan objects such as the body to learn more about it.
Shadai’s life work is dedicated to live up to the name”Shadai” (“Name by which/and or the name of God; “God known as a woman in Hebrew,” and “Destroyer, as one of the aspects of God”) for her belief in justice and medicine.
In Heroes of the Last Q Shadai is eventually able to assess the source of the planet Hated’s Kaiseron illness, spinal misalignment, where she adjusts the spine, help U7 defeats the Kaiserons mutant humans and restore all to good health. She also works to prevent the illness from spreading to other areas of planet earth. By the end of the attack of the Kaiserons she defeats the Kaiserons with the help of the Incredible U7.
