Adjusting To Daylight Saving Time
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - We return to Daylight Saving this weekend, meaning clocks are turned ahead one hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday. A St. Josephs’s University psychologist says there are a few strategies you can use to catch up with the lost hour.
Dr. Jodi Mindell, an SJU psychology professor, says getting your body and mind adjusted to the time change is tough. But, you can start right away this Sunday morning.
“Go for a walk in the morning. If you are driving or commuting, don’t wear sunglasses on Sunday morning and Monday morning. That light in the morning will help you shift your clock so that you are right back on track.”
