SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. -
It's one of the busiest places this time of year,
with all their holiday deals, but one man is out of luck. He says that
he's been banned from Walmart and wait until you hear why.
Walmart and a lot of other stores do ad matching. You come in and show a competing store is selling an item for a lower price, they will give you that price.
Walmart customer Joe Cantrell says he was doing that too much, and that's why Walmart banned him for life.

"Walmart is wrong for this and I'm going to fight back as much as I can," said Cantrell.
An avid Walmart shopper, Cantrell says on December 2nd while shopping at his local Walmart in SanTan Valley, one of the associates said suddenly that they would not be honoring his ad match prices any longer.
He insists it is because he is so good at it.
"They wanted me out of the store and it's all because of ad match. I became really good at ad matching and I believe that's their excuse to kick me out," he said.
Cantrell says he left Walmart that evening, unaware that an employee called the Pinal County Sheriff's Office after he left and filed a report.
Deputies say an employee accused Cantrell of swearing and threatening him when he was told no to the price match on eggs and milk.
"Never once did I look at this man and say I'm going to beat you up.. I'm going to do that.. use profanity toward him. Never once did I do that," said Cantrell.
When Cantrell returned four days later to that Walmart location, "They asked me for my ID. I show it to them, they put my hands behind my back, cuffed me, took me outside."
Statement from Walmart:
"The safety of our associates and customers is our top priority, and we find threats of violence unacceptable. This customer threatened our associate with bodily harm. Out of abundance of caution, local law enforcement was contacted. Due to continuous threats of violence, the customer is no longer welcome at the store."
Cantrell is due in court January 7th. He was cited for threatening and intimidation.
He says he wants to be unbanned just to clear his name, but says he will never return to that Walmart in San Tan Valley again, and would be too afraid to ad match again. He says if he does return to any Walmart before this is cleared up, he could be arrested.
