One Man's Inspiring Story Behind the Broad Street Run

Sunday's Broad Street Run is a ten-mile course from Central High School to the Navy Yard. 30,000 competitors are gearing up for the event. And one runner has an inspiring story -- despite the odds -- has his eyes on the prize.
"I can't see anything other than being able to tell you it's light outside or dark outside."
Michael Adler has retinitis pigmentosa. The congenital condition causes gradual blindness.
But at age 50, the Mantua man wasn't about to let that slow him down:
