MAJones - The Art of Learning by Mary A. Jones MAJones777@gmail.com

Mary A. Jones
I am grateful to the Lord that you have returned to Point ‘N Click’s Online Tech Lab. It is an honor for me to be able to share with you knowledge that will benefit you. As a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ I have learned that whatever my experiences are and whatever knowledge I have obtained it is only when I give it back or pour it out to others will I be able to receive more from Him. When your cup is full to overflow and you still are hungry for more, you must first give from out of that cup so that you can receive the more. So! Having said all of that it boils down to my thanking you for receiving what I pour out so that I am able to receive the more.
Today’s lesson deals with basic information. I won’t deal with any specific program or step-by-step procedures. I just want you to know that you can do just about anything from creating a letter, flyer to creating a brochure in something as simple as Print Shop (any version) or Microsoft Word. You can insert graphics from anywhere on your computer into just about any type of software application. One thing I learned as a business woman, start where you are and work with what you got. Now of course I know that the word “got” here is not good English. But that’s just how it is – use what you got. As time goes on then you will be able to add to your collection.
Also, there are some software applications that are considered as shareware or freeware that can be downloaded for FREE. Now if it tells you that you can try this free, this is a 30 day trial and after 30 days it will shut down and/or not work until you purchase product key or whatever their procedure might be for you to purchase it. If you try software like this with the intent to buy if it meets your needs, do not install it until you are ready to actually try it to the fullest.
Another Online Tech Tip - Antivirus
Keep your computer safe and do it freely. There is such a wide variety of free anti-virus programs that are effective. Save yourself some money and when your anti-virus program expires, Google AVG antivirus and install. It will not expire on you.
I look forward to our next session. Keep good notes and go over them to keep them fresh in your mind.
