Two busloads of Philadelphia police officers, and a few marked police units, drove up to Scranton on Thursday to pay respects to Pennsylvania state trooper Joshua Miller, who was killed in the line of duty on Sunday night after a 40-mile chase into the Pocono Mountains (see related story).
They gathered at the Fraternal Order of Police headquarters on Spring Garden Street, very much aware that thousands of law enforcement officers from around the Commonwealth and across the country have come to Philadelphia in the last two years for six city officers killed on the job.
